By accessing this site and/or hiring the services of EMP Designs, the user or client declares they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, you should not use the site or hire the services.

• “EMP Designs”, “we” - the service provider.
• “Client”, “user” - the individual or legal entity that uses the site or hires the services.
• “Services” - website creation, online stores, design, branding, SEO and related services.
• “Deliverables” - the final materials and work produced within a project.

EMP Designs provides website and digital product creation, online stores, design and branding, and digital marketing. The exact scope, deliverables and conditions of each project are defined in the proposal/quote agreed with the client.

Quotes are free and, unless stated otherwise, valid for 30 days. The project is considered started after written acceptance of the proposal and, where applicable, payment of the agreed deposit.

Unless agreed otherwise in the proposal, projects are invoiced with an initial deposit and the remainder on delivery. The amounts shown do not include VAT at the legal rate in force, where applicable. Late payment may lead to suspension of work until settled.

The client undertakes to provide, in a timely manner, the necessary content and access (texts, images, logos, credentials) and to give feedback within the agreed deadlines. The client warrants that they hold the rights to all materials they provide, releasing EMP Designs from any liability for third-party rights infringement arising from those materials.

The deadlines indicated are estimates and depend on the client's collaboration. Delays in delivering content, feedback or payments by the client may change the expected deadlines.

Each project includes a number of revision rounds defined in the proposal. Additional revisions or changes to the initially agreed scope may involve extra costs, communicated to the client in advance.

After full payment, the rights to the final deliverables are transferred to the client. Until then, all materials remain the property of EMP Designs. Third-party software, frameworks, fonts and images remain subject to their respective licenses. EMP Designs reserves the right to showcase the work developed in its portfolio and promotional materials, unless a confidentiality agreement states otherwise.

In case of cancellation by the client, amounts relating to work already carried out are non-refundable, including the deposit. Any amount owed for work performed up to the cancellation date will be invoiced.

Services are provided with professional diligence and competence. EMP Designs does not guarantee specific results that depend on external factors (for example, search engine rankings or sales volume). To the maximum extent permitted by law, EMP Designs' liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the service in question, and it is not liable for indirect damages or loss of profit.

When the project involves domains, hosting or other third-party platforms, their use is also subject to the terms and policies of those providers.

The processing of personal data by EMP Designs is governed by our Privacy Policy, in compliance with the GDPR.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. For the resolution of any dispute arising, the courts of the district of EMP Designs' registered office shall have jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other.

EMP Designs may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, with its respective last-updated date.
