The controller of your data is EMP Designs, created by Emanuel Pereira for website creation and design. For any question related to data protection, contact us at emanuel@empdesigns.pt.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process:

• Contact data you voluntarily provide (name, email, phone and the message content) when you contact us by email or request a quote.
• Browsing data automatically collected by the site infrastructure (IP address, device and browser type, date/time of access), for security and functioning.

We don't collect special categories of data (sensitive data) and the site is not intended for children under 16.

• Respond to contact requests and quote proposals, pre-contractual steps / consent.
• Provide and manage contracted services, performance of a contract.
• Ensure the security, stability and fraud prevention of the site , legitimate interest.
• Comply with legal obligations (e.g. tax), legal obligation.

This site uses two types of cookies:

• Strictly necessary cookies for the site's operation and security, namely cookies set by Cloudflarefor protection against malicious traffic. These don't require consent.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics), which help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site (pages visited, visit duration, device type). These cookies are only enabled after your consent.

On your first visit a banner lets you accept or declineanalytics cookies. If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site's cookies/data in your browser, and you can always block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

We don't sell or share your personal data. We work under confidentiality and security obligations:

• DigitalOcean, hosting of the server where the site is hosted.
• Cloudflare, content delivery network (CDN), DNS and security.
• Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics), website traffic analytics service, enabled only with your consent.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, always under appropriate safeguards provided by the GDPR (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).

We keep your data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or to comply with legal obligations. Contact data related to quote requests is kept for the duration of the relationship and, after that period, deleted or anonymized.

We adopt appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS) and server- and network-level protection. No system is 100% infallible, but we're committed to maintaining high security standards.

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as the right to portability and to withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact us at emanuel@empdesigns.pt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, in Portugal, the National Data Protection Commission (CNPD) (www.cnpd.pt).

Our site may contain links to external sites (e.g. portfolio projects or social media). We're not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and recommend reading their policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, with its last-updated date.
